After the first 50

So you've just seen the first 50. talk about being able to stay focused and actually finish something. It was a nice milestone so HF051 onwards were a little fun, afterall what else would Wookie dream about whilst being out of action?? Yes thats right, he dreams of action.

Weve now reached the 50th comic, this was a bit of a milestone. Poor Wookie, one can only wonder what happens next, luckily in the next post youll be able to find out!!

Shifting through some gears

Drawing these comics is relaxing, at other times it is a challenge, theres so many drawing books full of messed up pictures and concepts, practice makes perfect though and some of these next ones are a bit of a bridge into a loose story line, one that is as stable as a relationship between lawyers and hippies.

So here is the Tri County State Highway Division, Wookie has himself a new car and a job to do. Border Race [HF 38] was almost lost in the wash, most of these were drawn when the author was working on a mine site, one fateful evening at home, the clothes bag was thrown into the washing machine, it wasnt until later that the fresh drawing book was found to have been cleaned also. A few pictures were saved, only one was finished, the rest were trashed.

Watch out for the coloured ones!

This is the point where the comics took a turn for the better, its a learning curve, the style has slightly changed on a few of them and theyre in colour. This next comic was influenced by The Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers, which if you havnt seen you should attempt to find them!
